The ROKR E9 and RIZR Z10 are as yet officially unannounced Motorola handsets due to launch this year.

The ROKR E8 is, as the name would suggest, a music-focused phone and will offer a crazy-looking backlit keypad that transforms depending on the function you are using for the phone for at the time.

Although it might looks confusing, the touch keypad offers haptic force feedback, so you get a tiny vibration when you know you've hit a key.

The other control for the device is called the "Omega Wheel" and will be used for navigating the menu and music playback.

A GSM/GPRS/EDGE phone with 2-megapixel camera, 262K colour QVGA display, 2GB of internal memory plus microSD memory card slot, this also offers FM radio and 3.5mm headphone jack.

The RIZR Z10, thought to be the successor to the Z8, offers that cool face-fitting kick-sliding design, a 2.2-inch 16 million colour screen with scratch-resistant glass, a 3.3-megapixel camera and 30 fps video recording.

Offering quad-band GPRS and EDGE as well as HSPDA it is Symbian handset and is expected in December for 400 euros. The ROKR E8 is rumoured to launch in November for 280 euros.
