The biggest issue we foresee in the mobile market place is making the little machines tough and waterproof. Yes waterproof !!
We have conducted extensive field testing on the Canon Optio W30 waterproof still / movie camera and it shows the way for iPhone and iTablet to become really a staple in "the age of videography".
Families want to take their pix and movies at the seashore and on the ski slopes. They do not want to worry about a few drops of water destroying a device that costs a few weeks wages to buy. Waterproofing is easy if you follow the Pentax Optio W30 model. The iPhone for certain could seal up it's touch screen chassis and add Blue Tooth for access by external devices. Bingo!
Waterproof and nothing less. Don't forget that you got it first from Videography Lab.
