Freeloader gets a battery charger accessory

Smallest and lightest available no less...

NEWS: 3 October 2007 7:32 GMT by Amy-Mae Elliott

Solar Technology International has launched the Freeloader Battery Charger, the first in a line of accessories for its solar charger (introduced earlier this year) the Freeloader.

The portable device has been created for recharging AA batteries and AAA batteries directly from the Freeloader or USB port of a personal computer, and claims to be the smallest and lightest battery charger available.

Housed in a pocket-sized durable rubber case ("with a cool design") the charger is just 85 x 37 x 19mm in size and weighs in at just 54g inclusive of the two AA rechargeable batteries supplied.

It also doubles as a pocket torch and is priced at £12.99 available from retail outlets or on the Solar Technolgoy website.
