Fabia gets the mock 4x4 treatment image

The Fabia Scout may not look like a concept but, unfortunately, it is.

Yes, concepts are supposed to be sexy but some actually get made – and this is one you can guarantee won’t look much different when it rolls off the production line.

Debuted this week in the Czech Republic, the Scout is a standard estate with visual off-road features. Which basically means it’s an estate that’s pretending not to be scared of light drizzle.

It’s hideous and ever so slightly pointless but you can bet it’ll be cheap, practical and have a stack of equipment as standard.
