Longer and wider than the tired old duffer it replaces, the new C5 will be available early next year. Most obvious is its rather Germanic look, a big departure from the usual Gallic eccentricity. It’s promised with a range of the usual trademark Citroën techno-wizardry, loads of comfort, a huge engine range and of course stone-drop depreciation will come no doubt as standard. Shame really because this one looks like it could be a winner, ghastly interior aside.
