RockStarRadios raises £15k Eric Clapton's scribble gets the most money

The hammer has fallen on the RockStarRadios charity auction and £15,866 has been raised by the online charity auction of PURE EVOKE -1XT Marshall Edition DAB digital radios signed by rock artists including Noel and Liam Gallagher, Bruce Dickinson, Mark Knopfler and Paul Weller.

The highest bid went to the radio signed by Eric Clapton which made £623.93.

All proceeds will go to Nordoff-Robbins Music Therapy, the UK's leading independent music therapy charity.

Nicky Weller, Nordoff-Robbins Music Therapy's Fundraising Manager says: "The money raised by the auction is gratefully received and will go towards music therapy sessions around the UK. Nordoff-Robbins Music Therapy is the largest music therapy charity in the UK and relies wholly on donations to provide over 30,000 music therapy sessions every year across the UK".
