As so often happens I found myself the other night, sitting staring at the TV, idly flicking through the myriad channels on offer, muttering to myself about there being nothing on. And then an idea struck me. I'll catch a bit of music. I'll flick over to MTV, for that is where I will find the finest selection of music videos known to man. Isn't it?
Well, not any more. I remember the good old days when MTV was wall-to-wall music videos. Now it's chock full of banal "entertainment" shows à la Pimp My Ride and Cribs. It's enough to make you weep.
In the good old days the music video was a revolution and let's face it, even now, promos by even the most obscure bands are epics with million-dollar budgets and casts of thousands.
Thank goodness this little site exists then. Think of it as iTunes for music video. Browse through its archives and you'll find the latest offerings as well as classics from all eras. At reasonable prices too.
And yes, Eric Prydz's Call on Me is a popular choice. Can't imagine why...
