O2 has announced the launch of the Xda Stellar - a 3G pocket sized Windows Mobile PDA with inbuilt GPS.
Essentially the HTC Tytn II in O2 clothing, the O2 Xda Stellar is the first Xda offered by O2 to come with both integrated sat nav capabilities and a full QWERTY keyboard.
Described by O2 as THE device for those who want a compact, stylish phone that goes the extra mile, it's certainly a capable offering.
A slim design, slide out keyboard and colour touchscreen that tilts up for what is claimed to be the perfect reading angle and comes bundled with CoPilot Live 7 satellite navigation.
Said to be strong on email and messaging, the O2 Xda Stellar includes Wi-Fi and the Windows Mobile 6 OS, supporting key business email solutions such as Microsoft Direct Push Email, BlackBerry Connect and Good Mobile Solutions.
The O2 Xda Stellar also incorporates video telephony, a business card reader, MP3 player and 3-megapixel camera.
"To date, the Xda range has been well received by our customers and we are confident that the Xda Stellar will be no exception. From the sleek design to the full keyboard, the Xda Stellar is the perfect device for customers who crave style as well as functionality", said Ben Dowd, General Manager - Business Sales for O2 UK.
"The added benefit of an in-built GPS receiver makes for an affordably priced, highly portable and feature-filled device and means we can offer our customers an even wider selection of great products to choose from."
The O2 Xda Stellar will be on sale at a range of prices subject to tariff, and will be available from 26th November 2007 in O2 UK retail stores, through O2 Business and Corporate Sales and online.
