Bike computer offers digital rear-view mirror

Saves you looking over your shoulder

NEWS: 24 December 2007 14:00 GMT by Stuart Miles

A new bike computer will give riders the chance to see what is behind them when cycling.

Called HindSight, the digital rear-view mirror features a small lens that replaces the handlebar plug or is fitted to the seatpost and then the image is protected on the computer called the Cerevellum.

The bike computer can also be fitted with a GPS, Power and Hear-rate monitor

According to the makers the Hindsight is unaffected by road vibrations as it uses a progressive digital display that essentially replaces one complete image with another.

Still in prototype stage, no word from the company when it will be commercially available.
