CES 2008: Creative GigaWorks HD50 speakers launched New speakers promise hefty base without subwoofer

Creative has announced a new speaker system that is tiny in size but "guarantees" huge sounds at CES in Las Vegas.
The GigaWorks HD50 two-piece speaker system has been designed for computer users and features Creative High Definition Drivers, Titanium Super Tweeters, BasXPort technology for enhanced bass impact without a subwoofer, and front-mounted controls for volume/power.
No word as yet on pricing or availability.
