It's begun. The online Apple store is down with the traditional "We'll be back soon" Post-it note that signifies product updates going on feverishly behind the scenes.

It is just exactly what will be updated - or even better, introduced - that remains to be seen.

An ultra-slim MacBook, a new iPhone, iTunes movies rentals (in the States, at least) and an Apple TV update remain favourite according to the Apple fansites and blogs.
