Nokia and Facebook negotiating "major" mobile deal Rumours suggest phone company about to invest

Digital media blog PaidContent is reporting that Nokia and Facebook are "working on porting the social network on to Nokia handsets in a major way".
Suggesting that the deal could see a Facebook button displayed on Nokia handset homescreens as prominently as the YouTube button on the iPhone, PaidContent's "sources" also indicate that the discussions between the two companies could see the phone manufacturer buying a stake in the social networking success story.
The site quotes a senior Nokia executive, commenting on the "background" to the potential team-up: "There is talk of a partnership in the works … it’s safe to say we’re testing the waters and things still have to be worked out".
Nokia currently offers its own mobile social network Mosh, the first-ever social network created by a handset maker. The "Mosh" service was an attempt to bridge the gap between mobile and desktop social networking with a cross-platform design.
