Canon launches PIXMA iP2600 photo printer

£35 for entry level model

As part of their "Spring Collection" introductions, Canon has launched the PIXMA iP2600 photo printer.

This new entry-level printer replaces the PIXMA iP2500 and Canon says it is targeted at users "looking for great value, high quality photo printing".

Producing a 10x15cm borderless, photo lab quality 4800 x 1200 dpi photo in 55 seconds, the PIXMA iP2600 has integrated print head FINE1 cartridge that produces 2pl ink droplets for what the company claims is the finest imaging in class.

Re-styled for 2008 with a lower profile and output tray, the printer ships with Easy-PhotoPrint EX software and will be available from March 2008 priced at £35.00/49 euros.
