Sharp reveals world's thinnest LCD television Puts another telly on a strict diet...

24 January 2008 13:04 GMT / By Amy-Mae Elliott
Sharp's new AQUOS X series LCDs, just unleashed in Japan are are only 1.35 inches (3.4cm deep) at the thinnest part.
According to Sharp, this makes them the skinniest screens "in production".
We've seen thinner from the company with their prototype shown off at IFA last year, so we say - try harder.
Especially as: (a) we won't see the X series leave Japan for ages, and (b) we likely couldn't afford one anyway.
