This is a project put together by one Aza Raskin, president of Humanized software, who just happens to be the son of the Apple Macintosh founder Jef Raskin.

That grabbed your attention didn’t it?

And so it should.

This site is difficult to fault as it works so beautifully. Search for a song or band and the engine spits up results just like any other search site.

But, click on a result and you’re given the option to hear the song to make sure it’s what you’re looking for.

Even better than that you can add it to a play list and use Songza as an internet jukebox, all the while having the option to buy any of the tunes you’re listing to.

Like I said: difficult to fault.

  • Songza is cool, but the problem is that it is only providing a smartradio... Websites like http://www.deezer.com also provide REAL music on demand, for free, and this looks much more interesting! Posted by Troy, UK
