"Zeus" PC launches for £375,000

Ye gods

NEWS: 31 January 2008 11:10 GMT by Amy-Mae Elliott

Zeus has launched its range of handmade "Jupiter" and "Mars" desktop PCs made of gold and white gold, that must be the most expensive desktop offerings around.

Specs for the sky-high price tags are only mildly impressive, running on Intel Core 2 Duo CPU, 2GB memory, 1TB hard disk drive, GeForce 8400GS graphic card and Super Multi Blu-ray HD DVD.

A high-res 24-inch widescreen monitor is bundled with each gem-studded machine.

Suggested price is around 80,000,000 Japanese yen (that's a mind-boggling £375k) for the white gold PC and 60,000,000 yen (a much more manageable £280k) for the gold model.
