Talking heads with something worthwhile to say

NEWS: 15 February 2008 0:00 GMT by Ian Hughes

According to this site the Web is the "fifth medium" and it's fair to say that it's becoming a powerful tool for people who want to get a message across.

One problem though is that the Web is open to all and it's an awfully big place when you don't know your way around.

t5m aims to bring a little quality control to the talking heads the Internet is so fond of giving airtime to.

Here you'll find some of the biggest names in music, film, sport, politics, science, and the arts all with personal messages about things they care about.

None of your D-list Heat magazine wannabes here - just faces you'll recognise with something worthwhile to talk about.

You'll need to get your hands on Microsoft Silverlight plug-in to get the best of it, but trust us - that's no bad thing.
