Denon has upgraded what it claims to be its best in-ear phones, the AH-C700 set.
The replacement is the Denon AH-C751 phones, which are priced £149.99.
They boast an all metal construction and a noise-isolating design, claims Denon, which is smaller than their predecessors.
The Denon AH-C751 in-ear headphones are built from machined aluminium and have a canal-type design that brings the sound "directly into the ear".
Three sizes of soft silicone adapters are available so that the 751s sit comfortably in most ears.
They come with a 0.5m cable and 0.8m extension, which are tangle resistant and made from Pure-OFC (oxygen free copper), "to ensure the music arrives in
good shape and with no degradation", explains Denon.
Denon adds that the bass is tuned for slight warmth for a "rich smooth sound".
Also worth a mention are the earphones' gold-plated aluminium-bodied 3.5mm stereo mini jack plug and gold-plated contacts on all plugs/sockets.
