NEWS: 4 April 2008 12:24 GMT by Amy-Mae Elliott

Takara Tomy

This crazy little piggy bank from Takara Tomy, the "Jinsei Ginkou" is described as literally like "the bank of life".

You, represented by the little pixallated man, start out living the life the poor in a teeny apartment with flies buzzing around, by feeding coins into the Tamagotchi-like piggy bank with an LCD screen, the character can go on dates, get new clothes, and upgrade apartments, "eventually living a life of contentment".

We guess it's one way of watching your savings virtually grow, £40 from Audio Cubes, available now.
