World's first commercially available pico projector launches

SunView available in Hong Kong

NEWS: 18 April 2008 9:55 GMT by Amy-Mae Elliott

We've seen a fair few pico projector solution demoed at various tech shows down the years, but so far none of the designs have managed to make it to market.

Enter the SunView PMP Projector then, the first commercially available pico projector created by Sunlink International in collaboration with iView Limited.

The silver device is basically a really, really small projector capable of producing a 640 x 480 projection, has an embedded 3.5-inch LCD display, and an SD slot for additional storage.

No word on more spec, pricing, or if the device, currently available in Hong Kong, will see a wider international launch just yet.
