Afghan Action is a charity which takes some of those people whose lives have been permanently scarred by the conflict in Afghanistan and teaches them new skills in an effort to help them rebuild and live a normal life. As well as literacy and numeracy lessons, one of the major schemes they run is teaching people how to weave rugs and carpets.
