EyeTV gets update for Freesat Version 3.0.2 introduces H.264 support

The latest update has been released for the internet TV service, EyeTV, promises compatibility with the BBC and ITV's new Freesat service, as well as solving some glitches with the previous version.
The main addition to version 3.0.2 is H.264 support, which is what Freesat will use to broadcast.
Also - US users will benefit from Closed Caption support in QuickTime Exports for use on iPhones, iPods, and Apple TV, while users in Sweden will gain an Electronic Programming Guide.
The on screen menus have also been improved for all EyeTV users, including better visibility for error messages.
An audio item that can be used to select a specific track
on recordings with multiple audio tracks has also been added.
And hardware support has been added for the TerraTec Cinergy T USB XXS; the Digital Everywhere line of FireWire tuner products and the firmware has been updated to work with the Netherlands Pay TV provider Canal Digitaal.
