Duevel launches Planet high-end speakers

14 May 2008 12:19 GMT / By Katie Scott

These speakers must be the ultimate for a blokey batchelor pad.

The series is called the Planets for a start, which is very grandiose.

And they have these odd-looking steel contraptions on the top, which look like 1980s spinning desk toys, which all good Gordon Gekko-alikes had next to their PCs and brick-sized mobiles.

And, most importantly, they also work.

These floorstanding omni-directional loudspeakers feature a 5-inch subwoofer and and a 1-inch horn loaded tweeter.

The Planets line-up is available in black, white, silver, red, green or blue and retail for $1295 per pair.

But what's that for a style icon eh?
