Logitech has announced the coming-soon launch of the Logitech Pure-Fi Mobile speaker system.
For use with mobiles that have A2DP Bluetooth (although there is also a 3.5mm jack), the speakers let you stream music wirelessly from your phone up to 10 metres away.
Offering 2-inch high-excursion drivers and dual 2-inch pressure drivers, Logitech promises articulate bass and smooth treble.
As well as a music speaker, you can also use Pure-Fi Mobile as a wireless speakerphone with call-answer and call-end controls on the top of the speakers that let you accept or end calls.
The system features two built-in mics - one to pick up vocal nuances and the other to monitor and block unwanted background noise.
The one-piece system comes with a protective case that can also carry charging cables and the rechargeable batteries give you approximately 12 hours of playing time as well as a battery-life indicator.
The Logitech Pure-Fi Mobile speakers are expected to be available in the US and Europe beginning in June with pricing coming in at a not insubstantial £99 or 149 euros.
