A big part of many people's weekend plans these days is settling down in front of Doctor Who and revelling in the sheer, unapologetic nonsense of one of the longest-running and best loved sci-fi franchises in broadcasting history.

The show's homepage is one of the Beeb's better offerings and this little section is a must for any wannabe Spielbergs out there.

It allows you to put together your own trailer for the show with a suite of simple to use editing tools and the results can be quite impressive.

It'll help fill the down time until the Doctor is back on your screen.

  • I am, a man of 48. Doctor Who, started when I was just six years old. I do not remember, too much, of the first Doctor Who, ie. William Hartnel. The one I do remember was, Patrick Trouton. I may have spelt the name wrong? Anyway, my most favourite. Was John` Pertwee. He would have liked to have carried on. But he was then replaced, by an idiot, ie Tom Baker. He was one I did not enjoy. But today I really enjoy, David Tenant. I do hope very much, that David will be allowed to play the Doctor, for as long as he likes??!!.... I am very happy, after each episode. I wonder, what he will get up to next? Don`t you dare tell me!!!!!!!...... Bye bye. Posted by Kenneth, Radcliffe., Scotland.
