In a brief statement on its website Hutchison Telecommunications has announced that it has signed an agreement with Apple to bring the iPhone to Hong Kong and Macau via its 3 network later this year.

No more information about dates, pricing or version of the phone to be offered is provided.

This follows the most recent TeliaSonera iPhone announcement for the Nordic and Baltic markets including Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia

Previous to this whole host of similar announcements about Apple's mobile have come from Orange, Swisscom, SingTel and others, America Movil and Vodafone.

From a relatively slow start, Apple has rapidly expanded the markets the iPhone will be offered in. From the big markets, only mainland China, Japan, South Korea and Russia have not yet been confirmed.
