Way back in February, we heard rumours that Singapore-based audio company, Creative, was developing a new MP3 player.

According to insiders, the player would be called the Zen Share, and, as it names suggested, would offer wireless file transfer.

The mooted launch date of May/June now seems unlikely but a new leak on the web suggests that the Creative player will arrive in the next 2 months.

But it won't be the Zune Share.

In a recent press conference, Creative Nordic product manager Jan Hvidberg confirmed that there was a device called Share in development at one stage, but this device has been dropped due to technical difficulties.

But he did promise a new device for which "design" has been the key emphasis.

And Hvidberg also added that the company will no longer be making hard drive based players instead using flash technology.

Creative, however, hasn't confirmed the statement.

But it hasn't denied them either.
