PodGear has launched a speaker system for the iPod family that will fit your iPod, iPod mini and the iPod Shuffle.

Called the PodGear HouseParty the speaker set promises to turn your iPod into a mini stereo system, pumping out 2x6W of crisp stereo sound.

The unit also doubles up as a charger as well as enabling synchronisation with your computer over USB.

You can also connect other devices to the HouseParty via an auxiliary line in port.

The PodGear HouseParty will cost £49.99
