Presumably for emerging markets, Handlink's "Wi-Fi KIOSK" is an interesting idea for those without credit/debit cards - by feeding coins into the machine you get a little printed voucher with a code that lets you access the Wi-Fi network. Need more time? Feed the meter, man...
