Symbian shows off S60 "Touch" operating system Demo video shows touch and tilt features

Symbian has shown off a video demoing its new touchscreen operating system showing what’s to come from handsets using the interface.
The video, which is high class corporate gloss, features people using the a series of concept phones to stay in "touch with their loved ones" as it uses phrases like "You want to feel things" and "Something has touched you deeply".
Innuendos aside, the video shows users touching the phone and then even tilting it to get responses suggesting accelerometer support as found in the iPhone, LG Secret and Samsung Omnia.
Users will be able to silence the ringer by turning the handset on its face and create slideshows on the move with their photos.
Earlier this week pictures surfaced of the new touchscreen "Tube" device from Nokia, which if rumours are to be believed will run the S60 touch OS.
We will keep you posted.
