JBL Control NOW curvy speakers launch

Place anywhere, indoor and outdoor corner-loving creations

NEWS: 12 June 2008 15:57 GMT by Amy-Mae Elliott

JBL has announced its JBL Control NOW indoor and JBL Control NOW AW outdoor "high-performance" loudspeakers in the UK.

Designed with a "unique" quarter-round shape, these speakers can be installed in areas that would otherwise be a challenge.

JBL says the versatile design of the Control NOW loudspeakers means they can be placed virtually anywhere.

With their curved shape and angled back panels, they can be corner-mounted between a ceiling and a wall, two walls or placed horizontally or vertically on a shelf.

In addition, multiple JBL Control Now speakers can be joined together to create half-round, three-quarter-round or fully-round speaker units that can be hung from the ceiling or a pole.

The JBL Control NOW has a black finish and the JBL Control NOW AW is available in an all-weather white finish.

Both speakers will be available from July at a suggested retail price of £149 each and £179 each, respectively.
