It looks to be a Japan only launch for the moment, but Lancerlink has unveiled the DDV-1080HD.
This camcorder is expected to arrive next month for around 300 Euros.
It features a 1/2.5 inch, 5-megapixel CMOS sensor, SD, SDHC and MMC slots (up to 32GB), 3.0 inch LCD screen, a 2x digital zoom, and USB 2.0 port.
This device can record video in 1080p at 30fps or 720p at 60fps in .MOV format.
