Samsung has announced it will showcase its new range of Crystal Design series LCD and PDP TVs at IFA 2008 at the end of August.

As well as stylish looks, Samsung says the "exciting new connectivity features" of the 750 and 950 Series will set them apart from previous models.

The Crystal Design range will be the first TVs in Europe which can be connected to a home network to receive multimedia files, have built-in content and are able to receive RSS feeds directly from the Internet.

The 950 series will be available in "platinum black" and will combine the new multimedia connectivity functionality, USB HD playback and Samsung's LED backlight technology.

The 780 series gets the same design cues and LED tech, but will not have the connectivity. The 750, 780 and 950 Crystal Design series will be available from September in Europe, no pricing as yet revealed.
