Joining the two lonely queuers sitting outside the Apple store early evening last night are around 100 more early adopters and fanboys keen to get their hands on an iPhone 3G before stocks run out.

The hordes join Antonio and first-place Sunil, who, as Pocket-lint reported last night, was actually selling his place in the queue to the highest bidder.

So, how much did the surely much-coveted first place in the queue outside the flagship Apple store go for?

Winner David would not tell Pocket-lint the exact amount, revealing only that it was "less than £50", while word on the street put it at £40 - not bad to say he managed to spend the night in his comfy bed, rather than on the mean streets of London town.
