They started serving early and there was only 4 of us in the whole shop and while loads others qued up in a massive line outside the o2 shop at liverpool central station waiting for the place to open and were totally unaware of the other 3 iphone launches only 2 mins around the corner that were near enough empty XD I wasnt as excited as some tho as they wasted no time opening up there new iphone 3g in the shop and asking the sales team to run their phones through itunes to activate it strait away lol but had no chance, they were off to look for an internet cafe or any sort of internet/itunes access (why not just wait until u get home???) abit OTT i think. I went for the upgrade option were i had to pass to additional credit checks and passed strait away but i heard the people who were upgrading after me had to wait up to an hour for an answer back off o2 due to system overload as today's iphone 3g launch went off something serious and a major turn around from last years iphone launch were hardly anyone wanted one. The time is now 10:45am and i now assume that every outlet is out of stock by now as everyone wanted one this time. I am happy with my iphone 3g eventho some componants stay unchanged such as the camera etc. but if u want to take a decent picture, just buy a digital camera. The iphone 3g is a top piece of kit and wouldnt give it up for any other phone.
