Gears of War 2 release dated Same day as the presidential elections in the US

Microsoft has announced that Gears of War will be released worldwide on 7 November 2008.

Announced at Microsoft's E3 keynote speech in Los Angeles, Epic Games’ design director Cliff Bleszinski has announced a new look, as well as, confirming the ability to ride the Brumak from the first instalment.

The company has also detailed a new five-player cooperative mode "Horde", where players unite to battle a seemingly endless onslaught of Locust Horde forces.
