It's not due to be shown off until August at IFA but that hasn't stopped us getting a sneaky video of the new Aurea television from Philips.

The new television will feature a new frame, this time made from glass, as well as the latest Philips flat screen technology as found in the 9000 range announced in February.

The new range will go on sale in October, with a "from" price of around the £2500, £500 cheaper than the current model.

Expect more details next month from IFA, but in the meantime watch the video and see if you think the light fantastic is just too much to bear.
