Rumours are hitting the interweb hard that Sony has a new PSP up its sleeve.

Posters on the PSPChina blog are claiming that Sony is planning a hardware update to the currently available PSP, that will include a microphone, updated buttons, a few cosmetic changes and maybe even some kind of support for your mobile phone.

The supposed microphone slot you can see to the right of the volume buttons, while the Home button on the current PSP models has been replaced with a PS button, like that on the PS3 controller. Perhaps this is to prevent confusion with Sony's upcoming Home service.

There's been no confirmation that any of these are legit as yet, so keep an open mind on this one.
