Toshiba reveals UK launch info for new Qosmios

Toshiba has announced the UK launch of its new Qosmio range of high-end multimedia and gaming notebooks, with three new models that we've previously brought you news of - the F50, G50 and X300 - on sale now.
Toshiba’s new F50 and G50 models are "premium" multimedia efforts claiming to offer a "truly advanced" home entertainment experience and "the best" HD performance ever seen in a laptop.
The Qosmio F50 and G50 models both launch with Toshiba’s new Quad Core HD Processor, a powerful new media processor based on cell architecture.
The Quad Core HD processor also means the integrated webcam can be used as in-built Toshiba Gesture Control tech that recognises hand movements as commands for controlling AV features.
The F50 and G50 models are powered by the very latest Intel Centrino 2 processors, and typical purchase prices for the Qosmio F50 and G50 models series start from £899.
The Qosmio X300 is Toshiba’s first-ever Qosmio gaming machine ad boasts the "Fire Shark" exterior design theme with red LED illumination.
The X300 is powered by the latest Intel Centrino 2 technology with Intel Core2 Duo Extreme processors, up to 4GB of DDR3 RAM and dual Hard Disk Drives with capacity of up to 640GB.
There's also nVIDIA GeForce graphics and a 5.1 channel Harmon Kardon sound system. Typical purchase prices for the Qosmio X300 models series start from £1199.
