Humax launches new Freeview PVRs Twin-tuner Freeview+ digital TV recorders

Not one but two new Humax Freeview PVRs have launched today.
Both of the new launches are twin-tuner Freeview+ digital TV recorders (DTRs), giving access to up to 48 Freeview channels plus a host of recording features.
At the top end is the PVR-9300 with a 320GB hard drive (200 hours of programmes) as well as HDMI upscaling.
The PVR-9150T is the lower cost alternative with 160GB of recording capacity.
Because the PVR-9300T and PVR-9150T come with two built-in digital tuners, viewers can record two Freeview channels while watching a recorded programme, or watch one Freeview channel while recording another.
Both models also boast less than 1 watt power consumption in standby mode, ensuring energy efficiency.
They inherit the Humax interface, with an 8-day on-screen electronic programme guide, and series linking allowing viewers to set their DTR to automatically record episodes of their favourite shows, while live pause and instant rewind functions give viewers full control over what they are watching.
Other features include split recording, which enables viewers to record two-part programmes that may have a break in the middle for a news bulletin, such as films.
The Humax PVR-9300T and PVR-9150T are available to buy from 1 August, priced at around £199 and £149.99 respectively.
