Morphy Richards cooks up the Intellisteam

A whole meal ready at once

NEWS: 26 July 2008 9:42 GMT by Katie Scott

Timing your cooking so that your veg isn't soggy by the time your meat has cooked is an artform.

But Morphy Richards says it has just made it easier for all of us with the Intellisteam - "a revolution in steaming".

The steamer has an intelligent digital timer (hence the name of this cooking gadget perhaps?) which means that you can programme it so that different foods are ready at the same time.

Intellisteam has a pre-set time guide displaying how long it takes to cook different foods such as chicken, fish, rice, sauce and even eggs.

You can also personalise and save settings for future use, so if you like your vegetables crunchy you can adapt the timer to suit your preference.

Morphy Richards claims that the Intellisteam allows you to cook a whole meal for up to four people.

It comes with removable accessories including two sauce trays, rice tray, food plinth and a divider wall for the front container.

Other features include an automatic keep warm function, dishwasher safe containers, accessories and drip tray, external water top-up, visible water gauge and a removable drip tray for easy cleaning.

And steaming is also recognised as a tasty way to retain vitamins so is a great way to get healthy meals.

Intellisteam is priced £99.99.

Have Your Say
  • Intellisteam is fantastic and such good value for money. I think whoever designed this should receive an award. I have used it every day to cook healthy meals and they are always good to perfection. I can't recommend this product any higher.
