Lexmark has today introduced the Lexmark P450 in America, a 4x6in inkjet photo printer, featuring according to Lexmark, the industry's first-ever built-in CD photo burner, giving users a complete photo processing centre and easy-to-use digital image archiving system -- all with no PC hassle.

Users will be able to transfer images from their camera memory cards to CDs using the built-in CD burner.

"The Lexmark P450 brings more photo processing functions to the home. The Lexmark P450 is quite intuitive, easy to use and affordably priced," said Najib Bahous, Lexmark vice president and president of its Consumer Printer Division.

The Lexmark P450 will cost $199 when it launches in the US next month. The P450 will be in the UK with an the expected RRP at the moment of £149.99.
