In one of the most bizarre lawsuits of the year so far, LG is facing a wrangle over trademarks for its Scarlet TV.
The television was launched to fanfares after LG "pretended" that Scarlet was, in fact, a person - the star of a new TV show.
It was at a star studded event in April that the TV was then unveiled.
But a company called Red is none too happy with LG applying for a Scarlet trademark.
According to online reports, Red, which makes high end cameras (around the $3000 price mark), has started legal proceedings against LG.
And, says Engadget, Red's president Jim Jannard is "politely" asking Red fans to include a trademark disclaimer when they post about the company's products, and he says that the proceedings against LG are "just the tip of the iceberg".
