Plastic Logic has previewed its E-Ink-based e-book reader solution, that it expects to bring to market in the first half of next year.

Offering a "stunning" form factor, measuring 8.5 by 11-inches, the flexible Plastic Logic reader features a big readable display but is thinner than a pad of paper.

Unlike Sony's Reader or the Amazon Kindle, this version is aimed at the business market, supports Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and Adobe PDFs, as well as newspapers, periodicals and books.

Plastic Logic say the device has a gesture-based interface and will offer wireless connectivity.

Unlike other current electronic reading devices, this model is flexible thanks to its plastic display in contrast to other model's smaller displays that are based on glass screens.
