Comments are going great guns on Pocket-lint with plenty of you, our readers, getting involved on a daily basis, but we want to reward you for getting even more involved.

From today, each month we are going to give one lucky commenter a prize for doing just that, commenting on the stories we write.

The rules of the competition are simple, you can enter as many times as you like by simply commenting on any story. At the end of the month we will pick the best comment and they will get a prize.

You don't have to sign up to comment on the stories, we just ask for your name, location and email address - that does not show up online and is not passed on.

We will be contacting you via email so make sure you use the right one in the form when you file a comment. We won't be sharing this email with anyone else.

To kick the competition off we've got an unlocked LG Secret sporting a carbon-fibre design and 5-megapixel camera to give away.

So what you waiting for? Get commenting...

This month's competition will end on the 3rd October.

  • Great!

(does this count for an entry) :-)

(If so, I forsee a lot of short replies to stories)

  • Are you beginning to see the flaw yet?

  • You might have missed this bit: "At the end of the month we will pick the best comment and they will get a prize."

I don't think a 3-word reply could qualify for a "best comment" award.

  • Your right Jen. It is the best post of the month, not just random three worders. John B, those replies don't come close.

  • Many apologies - It would help if I'd have read the article fully I suppose, but in my defence, my brain was still pretty addled by the sight of a 31 year old sat astride a toy dinosaur, happily cupping it's horns, telling us how much better it was than Butterscotch.

    Just seemed sooo wrong.

  • Glad you enoyed the vid, the things we do for you guys. Next week I am checking out a new cat flap with built-in RFID, although don't expect a video of me trying to climb through it Posted by stuartmiles, United Kingdom
  • People are so spontaneous in reacting to the news that they will get an award for the best post, ut had they been more spontaneous towards towards making this world better to live in, we humans would have survived better in near future Posted by Rajat, India
  • Think that your article about Google Chrome is really great and covers most things. My main problem is that it does not have autocomplete Posted by Wendy, UK
  • Sounds great! Posted by Tony Burroughs, United Kingdom
  • I love that you can win a phone by commenting on a story Posted by emily jones, United Kingdom
  • Having to go to these lenghts just to win a phone u would think POCKET-LINK would offer a better prize having said that and blown my chances this
phone would make my life complete apart from the fact that i want the large hadron collider to make a black hole and suck the planet in so that we could all see whats on the other side

  • i want to win please Posted by chris yates, uk
  • Sounds fab can I win?? please Posted by Lindsey Townend, United Kingdom
  • Carbon fibre design - does that mean that my carbon footprint increases if I win and will my girlfriend notice. Also tell LG that a 5MP camera doesn'y quite make and 8x10 enlargement look good but mighty close call.
Does LG stand for Lucky Git??

  • As many others have stated, this would have been far better if users had to use their imagination a little bit more, rather than simply posting 'does this count' etc.

There are many very good stories written here, that deserve proper comments, that people, users like me actually wish to read.

  • Shame we have to comment on the stories you write...
I could write pages about Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice and it's current adaptation - Lost in Austen on Tv! I love watching it and wondering what havoc will fall upon the unfortunate Bennet girls next!
Product placements from this site on the series... still looking!

  • love this phone, would enjoy using it . Posted by Mary, United Kingdom
  • All credit to Robert Delaware and his honesty about his concerns about the XBox 360. Any company that would dismiss an concerned employee for being honest surely raises questions about their products and their credibility.

Also I desperately need a decent phone. My 'Sagem my220x phone cost me £10 last christmas at Woolworths, thats all I could afford.

  • The first story that came to mind was a Book called 'Loves Wild Desire'. I read it once in my teens and loved the almost mirror image of my own fantasies. It was almost embarrassing to read it. I almost wandered if some one had tapped into my own brain. I wish I could find that book again, shame I don't know the author. Posted by Susannah Leggatt, England

  • Interesting that in your review of the new Adobe Creative Suite CS4 there is no mention of the controversy surrounding the price (it is yet another case of rip off prices for software sold in the UK). Any chance of a follow up on this please? Maybe on US-UK prices in general?

BTW, page layout is looking nice ;-)
