Daniel Tadd from England has won the LG Secret in this month's comments competition for giving his witty thoughts on the "Texting and driving worse than drinking" story.

Well done Daniel.

To everyone else - thanks for entering we had some really good comments. But fear not, because a new month means a new competition.

This month we are giving away another great prize. Fancy a chance in winning a digital photo printer from Sony? Then getting commenting.

The Sony DPP-FP65 comes with a 2.4-inch screen and memory card reader and can print photos 6 x 4-inch photos in 60 seconds.

The rules of the competition are simple, you can enter as many times as you like by simply commenting on any story. At the end of the month we will pick the best comment and they will get a prize.

You don't have to sign up to comment on the stories, we just ask for your name, location and email address - that does not show up online and is not passed on.

We will be contacting you via email so make sure you use the right one in the form when you file a comment. We won't be sharing this email with anyone else.

So what you waiting for? Get commenting...

This month's competition will end on the 3rd November.

And please, just commenting on this story that you want to win isn't going to help you win. We want good thought out comments rather than "Pick me, pick me".

  • I would love to win this as so often we take lovely piccys and then because we can't print them ourselves only a few ever get done which is a shame as photos bring back so many memories in such detail,detail that you would most likely forget otherwise (especially when you have a really terrible memory like mine). • Maybe winning this would , stop me from loosing my memory card's as they are put somewhere so safe !! ready to be taken to the print shop - no one can find them- not even me! Posted by Wendy Hook, UK

  • Sony photo printer is so lush,
    So sexy and so sleek;
    It makes me want to gush,
    And waffle like a geek!

    About its 2.4 inch screen,
    Its 60 sec printing speed,
    How photos come out sharp and clean,
    And how, for it, I feel such greed.

    Pocket-lint has come up trumps,
    Once more with this fab prize!
    I really was down in the dumps,
    Until this printer caught my eyes.

    I suppose I could just say,
    Something moving, cute or sad;
    To pull on your heartstrings,
    Or tell you this is for my dad.

    But if I’m honest, I must confess,
    I want this baby for my own;
    I’m selfish but I have to stress,
    This hi-tech gadget has totally blown
    Me away.

    I hope you like my little rhyme,
    About my lust of this Sony beauty;
    Thank goodness I ran out of time,
    And had no chance to get too fruity.

  • Guys, thanks for all the comments so far on this story. However just to confirm once again, you will not win the competition merely by posting on this story saying "Let me win". To stand a chance of winning the Sony digital photo printer you have to comment on another story on the site and add something to the mix.

  • But it actually says, right below the xperia advert :

    "Want to win a Sony photo printer? Post a comment below and it could be you"

    Doesn't that conflict with what you've just said, stuartmiles?

  • Also, just reading the blurb regarding this competition, another quote:

    "The rules of the competition are simple, you can enter as many times as you like by simply commenting on any story. At the end of the month we will pick the best comment and they will get a prize. "

    It says 'any story'.

    Surely that also includes the story upon which we are now commenting?

  • I agree Simon, however the aim of the competition is to get poeple chatting on all stories across the site, not just pleas to win a printer on the competition page. Posted by stuartmiles, United Kingdom

  • Well, my comment has to be about this prize I'm afraid. I'm so sick of sending my order off online to get my prints, only to have the company mess it up. I've had my prints sent to other customers (thankfully they weren't the pics of me topless in Marbella!!!), I've had other peoples prints sent to me by mistake (again, not the ones of them topless in marbella) and I've had prints missing (goodness only knows where they ended up. I've had prints arrive stuck together too. What a pain! I know there are alternatives, like taking your memory stick into a shop, but I want something convenient. What ever happened to companies who valued their customers? It just seems to be a thing of the past these days sadly. Posted by jen english, United Kingdom
  • I have 5 grandkids so to win this Sony photo printer would be a real boost and in this time of the credit crunch allow me to still take photos of them all.
    It would compliment my sony digital camera as well.

  • Necklace storage containers, ladybird homes, sweetener holders, humane spider catchers. I've been starting to run out of ideas as to what I can use empty, old fashioned film containers for so this prize would be ideal to take me into the 21st century and might also make my living room tidier!!!
