The Most Innovative Gadget of 2005 is made up of gadgets across the range of categories we cover on Pocket-lint.

They are gadgets that have broken new boundaries in their field. Whether it's taking a digital camera and giving it wireless connectivity, making it possible to play Scalextric Online against others around the world, allowing you to use Skype on your home phone, letting you pratice your golf swing on your PS2 or making it quicker to do the cleaning at home this is the stuff of tomorrow's world.

The awards will be held on the 1 December 2005 and include any product that has been launched in the UK since the 1 December 2004.

There are 13 categories including the Pocket-lint Readers Award sponsored by Vodafone where you will have your say rather than the judges on the best gadget from all the nominations of 2005.

Voting for the gadget of the year will start on 1 November 2005 and finish on 30 November 2005.
