Panasonic unveils new super mini G50

The G50 super-mini mobile brings colour to the smallest handset on the market
Panasonic Mobile Communications Co., Ltd., today introduces the G50 mobile phone to the UK. The super-mini tri-brand mobile features an enhanced colour display of 4,096 colours, two built in games and 40-polyphonic ring tones. The G50 also supports Enhanced Messaging Service (EMS), downloadable wallpapers and ring tones and WAP browsing and is available on Virgin Mobile in the UK from October.
Mr Graham Carter, General Manager of Sales for Panasonic's Mobile Phones in the UK said: "There is big consumer demand for small form factor mobile handsets which both the GD55 and G50 handsets address. The GD55 phone proved extremely popular with women and men alike because of the size and functionality. The G50 goes one step further by incorporating colour and high quality sound into a tiny package."
The super-mini G50 weighs in at an mere 74 grams and with dimensions of 80x43x18.8mm, the G50 mobile phone is perfect for users who value style but want sophisticated messaging capabilities as well as a quality colourful display.

With a display of over 12,000 pixels and two games included as standard, the G50 incorporates rich sound and vibration effects to ensure a fulfilling mobile gaming experience. The EMS capability also allows users to send enhanced text messages with images or sounds that are preloaded onto the G50. The super-mini mobile also supports 2.5 to 6 hours talk time and up to 200 hours standby time2.
