In response to recent criticism that mobile phone roaming costs aren't explained clearly enough when you are outside of the UK, Orange has launched a new service called the Orange Roamer's Guide that is available to all Orange customers direct on their mobile phones.
The electronic guide, which will automatically appear on a customers' phone when they're abroad and begin accessing the mobile internet through Orange World, provides a complete list of roaming charges ensuring they're fully aware of the costs of different services they are about to be charged.
Keith Greenfield, Director of Roaming and Interconnect, said: "Consumers want clear information about using their phones overseas, and through this simple guide we are providing them with the clarity they need to make an informed decision when their mobile usage abroad.
"With Orange, you won't be entered into a roaming lottery. You know exactly how much you're going to pay, regardless of where you are in the world or which network you roam on."
