Sony Ericsson has announced today that is has expanded its Walkman range of phones adding the w300 to the series.
The new quad band edge clamshell is the seventh in the range and like previous models focuses on music.
The W300 Walkman phone, which supports both MP3 and AAC music files, offers up to 30 hours of music listening and features direct music keys, shuffle function, as well as an in-built FM radio with RDS and flight mode.
Sony Ericsson has also said the new model will come supplied with a 256MB Memory Stick Micro (M2) card to store songs and data on.
The phone also comes with a VGA digital camera with 4x digital zoom and a 262K colour screen. USB2.0 and Bluetooth connectivity are also included.
The company promises a talk time of 9.5 hours and a standby time of 400 hours.
The Sony Ericsson W300 will be available in Shimmering White and Shadow Black colour variants and starts shipping in Q2 2006.
